On my mind...

Being a parent is the most difficult job I’ve ever had. It’s also the most important job and the one I think I fail at the most. But then my son does something or says something and I realize that he has been listening all along. I love these moments.
How about you? Do you have these worries? Do you experience such moments?

  1. I think worrying about if you are doing a good job as a parent means you probably are doing a good job. I think the people who aren't concerned, probably aren't putting in the effort. You have 18 years with your child, if you are lucky, then they leave. You've got to hope (and pray) that you've done the very best you could have. So when they do leave home, they are intelligent, kind, hard working, good people. I'm sure you are doing great, Buffy. The time you've invested in me, shows how nurturing you are. Don't doubt yourself.

Thanks so much for the mini critique! It was so valuable!
