Why book trailers are now essential

I came across this article on book trailers and wanted to share it.

Have you produced book trailers? How did it go and what do you think of finished product?

  1. I LOVED producing mine because I was able to sing in it. I think it worked out really well. If you'd cared to take a peek, I'd be honored! :o)

  2. Jessica's book trailer is wonderful, and I am so impressed that she produced it and sang in it! I have one, but I didn't do anything but provide the pictures for it.

My husband arranged for its creation via an E-Lance transaction. He bartered some router programming (whatever that is) for the creation of the book trailer. I think it came out pretty good. I like the music he picked.

  3. Jessica's trailer is fantastic! I didn't realize she sang on it too. Wow!

I wonder who is watching book trailers? Kids...our target audience or other writers???

  4. I agree, Jess. You can really sing. Great job! I can't even hum!

And Dianne, I love the music on your trailer. Very eerie.

  5. I did a homemade trailer for the e-book I recently released through my blog. It wasn't amazing or anything, but it definitely garnered some interest!
